And the winners are…

:

For the past few months, this blog – along with many other K-blogs – has been part of a contest by VANK (Voluntary Agency Network of Korea) , in association with the Korea Sparkling brand©. Upon first hearing about it – and the possibility of winning a netbook, digital camera, or MP3 player – I registered and basically went on my merry blogging way. The top 100 bloggers would be contacted if they won a prize, with 30 bloggers selected from the 100 having a chance to take a trip elsewhere in Korea during an October weekend.

While the latter prizes have yet to be announced, the former ones have. While I don’t remember the precise criteria of the contest, I will be the owner of a shiny new MP3 player of some kind in the near future 🙂 Of course, there are currently 103 registered blogs and 100 prizes to have been won – not winning something would have been rather embarassing….

The e-mail list of winners is over here (with the domain name redacted for something resembling privacy). I see several familiar names in my blogroll – Kiss my Kimchi, Brian in Jeollanam-do, Roboseyo, Joy from Foreigner/Joy – and quite a few unfamiliar / vague ones at the top.

Congrats to all the winners – now let’s conspire to make Chris in South Korea one of the top 30. Mwahahahaha 🙂
