Job Description

Information Management professionals define, develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, management and processing of information from one or more sources and delivery of information to audiences who have a stake in or right to that information.

A Manager/Program Manager is responsible for managing the design, development, implementation and support of technologies to meet business specifications. He/she has solid technical, project planning and management skills. He/she identifies and analyzes potential design and implementation risks and proactively responds to mitigate any circumstance that may jeopardize the project. He/she has a responsibility to develop a high-performing, motivated staff.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Managing the planning, analysis and definition of high-level software strategies and solutions through business, functional and technical expertise
  • Managing the design and implementation of analyses that will identify requirements related to people, processes and technology
  • Leading the implementation of the technical infrastructure
  • Managing the integration of technical and application components
  • Managing the technical infrastructure design
  • Overseeing the effort to identify vendors of software applications and leading the effort to arrange favorable terms for procurement
  • Managing the process of identifying, analyzing, mitigating and responding to project, financial, operational, security, and legal threats
  • Managing to clearly defined business goals and expectations; leading utilization of efficient and effective processes and standards in order to continuously improve quality
  • Managing the process of determining resource status and needs, deploying resources, and coordinating sourcing and outplacement
  • Creating and fostering an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team; inspiring individuals on team to contribute their best efforts
  • Leading the design and implementation of a metrics program to track and report on key performance indicators
  • Assisting in planning, estimating, managing, and/or delivering multiple projects within a program
  • Assist with the end-to-end delivery of online web portal applications (self-service)
  • Analyze business requirements & participate in requirements confirmation
  • Create design documents & participate in design walkthrough workshops
  • Create Technical design documentation and participate in technical review.
  • Build and Systems Test of module.
  • Conduct and Coordinate SIT/UAT testing & related bug fixes
  • Deployment preparation & execution
  • Drive cross-team communications
