Dear Korea #039 – Maybe She’s Born With It

Dear Korea #039

When I first came to this country, I was constantly in awe at how gorgeous so many people here seemed to be. After living here for a while, I’ve learned that looking good takes a LOT of work. Not to say that Koreans aren’t attractive on their own, but many of the younger girls and guys I see look like they just hopped of the set of a K-Pop video not even five minutes ago.

Props to all of you that take the effort to look good. I’m sure I’d look a lot less awkward at nice events if I did even half the work you’re all willing to do. With that being said, I think someone checking to see if their hair looks right every five minutes may be borderline excessive, no?

Anyways, in case you haven’t noticed, the site has ads now. I’m in the process of experimenting a bit, so don’t be surprised if you see random changes throughout the week. For the most part, I’m trying to not make things too intrusive. If anyone knows of any good ad companies for me to try, feel free to toss them my way. Like I said before, I’m mostly experimenting for now.
