LG Metro City | Busan (Yongho-dong), Korea

:

About the photo:

Forget the white picket fence. In land-starved Korea, keeping up with the Kims means living in one of these new towers. The Yongho-dong neighborhood of Busan has over 72,000 people living in just 7 km2. One man’s concrete maze is another man’s dream.

South Korea is the third most densely populated country in the world (among countries with populations over 10 million). Only Taiwan and Bangladesh pack more people into so little space. But isn’t Japan the most crowded country? It’s number 8.
