How fragile am I sitting here free
Wondering how long my freedom shall be

The darkness of the world is fast approaching my soul
I am anxious to keep my safe Zone whole

Helpless I watch as man moves toward Armageddon
Whilst I hope our souls will be saved by the heavens

I am stunned to think that because I am free
There are those who want to harm and kill me

My freedom should not be shaken or harmed
By peoples I know that are heavily armed

I will not let them know that I fear their approach
Nor shall I stand for hatred's broach

For I am free and live free I will
Not in the shadows of those who kill
