Onward unblinking unto the quiet veneer of death
Hideous trembling voices
Awaken to other thoughts
How gruesome life unfolds before you
Seething and tumultuous
the world appears
Unknowing you are in these your last moments
The dream is over
the nightmare stirs slowly awake
Pray for your soul
grieve at your side
All for naught you have struggled
youthful arrogance
Sadness is nowhere to be seen
Now that you leave
I do not wish you would stay
Just whisper you might
