Another great experience in Tokyo at the Mori Art Museum (森美術館)

For 1,800¥ a person, you can view modern art in Roppongi. Don’t forget to check out the funnel-shaped elevator from outside. It’s designed by Richard Gluckman, and then you can head to the 52nd floor for a great city view and rotating photography, fashion, and architecture exhibits.

We saw an exhibit on N.S. Harsha (b. 1969). He is one of the most refined practitioners on today’s Indian contemporary art scene. “N.S. Harsha: Charming Journey” included around 70 major works encompassing the 20-plus years of the artist’s career since 1995. Referencing everything from traditional Indian art, myths, and epics, the ripple effects of globalization, to the international contemporary art scene, Japanese painters, the realms of plants, animals, and birds, and the great unknown of cosmic space. I definitely found myself on a “charming journey.”
